香港拥有超过9,000座高楼大厦，其中超过4,000座是高度超过100米的摩天大楼，截至2025年，根据世界高层建筑与都市人居学会的统计，香港有567座建筑高度超过150米[1][4][5][a]。香港最高的建筑是108层的环球贸易广场，高度为484米，是全球第13高的建筑[6][7][8]。这些摩天大楼的总高度约为333.8公里[9][10]。由于香港的人口密度较高，香港有更多居民住在15楼或更高，以及更多高度至少为100米和150米的建筑，比其他任何城市都多[11][4][10][12]。

香港的大部分建筑集中在香港岛北岸、九龙以及新界的新市镇，例如荃湾和沙田。更多高楼大厦位于香港岛南岸以及地铁站附近区域[13][14][15]。
香港岛的天际线因其独特的排列而闻名[16]，周围的山脉和维多利亚港衬托著沿岸的摩天大楼群[4][17][18]。每晚，维多利亚港沿岸的44座建筑参与幻彩咏香江，这场同步灯光秀被吉尼斯世界纪录评为世界上最大的永久性灯光秀[9][19]。

香港第一座高楼是第三代汇丰总行大厦，于1935年落成。该建筑高70米，共13层，使用了近五十年后被拆除，以兴建第四代汇丰总行大厦[20]。20世纪初期，高楼建设受到限制。然而，从1970年代开始，香港经历了一股高楼建设的潮流，并持续至今。这股潮流很大程度上是由于城市多山的地形和缺乏平坦土地所致[21]。香港在1980年进入建筑热潮，大致持续到1993年。在这期间建成的建筑包括合和中心（1980年）、中银大厦（1990年）和中环广场（1992年），这些建筑在落成时均为香港最高的建筑之一[22][23][24][25]。
从1998年开始，香港进入第二波更大规模的建筑热潮，持续到2010年代初[25]。第二波热潮见证了环球贸易广场、国际金融中心二期、如心广场一期和港岛东中心的落成[17][26][27][28]。在2003年建筑热潮的高峰期，全港共有56座超过150米的摩天大楼落成。多塔式高楼建筑群的激增，例如公共屋邨和地铁站附近的铁路加物业发展项目，大大增加了摩天大楼的数量[14][15][25]。
与1980年代和1990年代初的建筑趋势不同，由于香港对豪华住宅的需求激增，第二波热潮中的许多高楼是住宅用途。此外，启德机场关闭后，高度限制得以在九龙半岛放宽，使得许多高楼在九龙拔地而起，例如名铸、维港文化汇和天玺，这些建筑均超过200米[29][30][31][32]。摩天大楼也在新界兴起，例如都会駅和日出康城在将军澳的发展[33][34]。然而，大型建筑项目的提案在2000年代大幅减少。社区对摩天大楼对城市生态的影响越来越关注，例如空气流通的变化（即“屏风效应”）和空气污染[35]。
九龙东作为新兴商业区的崛起[36]，使得观塘和九龙湾一带从2000年代开始出现商业和住宅摩天大楼，例如创纪之城发展项目。此外，启德发展计划在2020年代推动了前机场用地上的住宅综合体建设。

香港最高的建筑物（以顶尖高度计算）
环球贸易广场（International Commerce Centre，简称ICC），位于西九龙柯士甸道1号。由香港铁路有限公司与新鸿基地产共同拥有及发展，为Union Square项目的第七期。环球贸易广场高达484米，是香港最高的建筑物，也是全球第13高的建筑物。主要租户包括德意志银行、瑞士信贷集团、摩根士丹利、荷兰银行及埃森哲[6][7][8]。
国际金融中心二期（International Finance Centre，简称IFC或国金二期），位于中环金融街8号，香港站上盖。国际金融中心二期高415.8米，现为香港第二高的建筑物。它于2003年落成时曾是香港最高的建筑物，直至2009年被环球贸易广场超越。该大厦是国际金融中心商业项目的第二期。主要租户包括瑞银集团、三星电子、香港金融管理局及法国巴黎银行[26][37][38]。
中环广场位于湾仔港湾道18号，顶尖高度达373.9米，现为香港第三高的建筑物。它于1992年落成时曾是香港最高的建筑物，直至2003年被国金二期超越。中环广场在1992年至1996年间也是亚洲最高的建筑物，其后被深圳的信兴广场超越。该大厦以其独特的外形及“丽光时计”照明系统闻名，并设有全球最高的摩天教堂——天空城市教会（Sky City Church）[22][39][40]。
中银大厦位于中环花园道1号。由普立兹克建筑奖得主美籍华人建筑师贝聿铭设计，大厦高315米，连同两支桅杆高度达367.4米，现为香港第四高建筑物。1990年至1992年间曾是美国以外最高的建筑物，亦是美国以外首座超越305米的建筑。大厦外型设计像竹笋，在风水上象征生机与繁荣[23][41][42]。
长江集团中心位于中环皇后大道中2号。高282.8米，于1999年落成，是长江实业集团的总部大楼。大厦顶层为集团主席李嘉诚的私人住宅[43][44][45]。
中环中心位于中环皇后大道中99号。于1998年落成，高346米，是土地发展公司（现为市区重建局）首批大型市区重建项目之一。这座摩天大厦的独特结构全由钢材构成，没有钢筋混凝土核心[46][47][48]。
合和中心位于湾仔皇后大道东183号。高222米，合和中心于1980年落成时曾是香港最高的建筑物。这座大厦标志著香港中央商业区向东扩展。合和中心拥有独特的圆柱形设计，62楼设有旋转餐厅。由合和实业主席胡应湘设计，大厦是其公司的总部[24][49][50]。
汇丰总行大厦位于皇后大道中1号。这座高达178.8米的建筑是香港上海汇丰银行的总部，也是其第四代总部大楼。由著名英国建筑师诺曼·福斯特设计，耗时七年建成，1985年竣工时以52亿港元（6.68亿美元）的造价成为全球最昂贵的建筑。每逢周末及假日，这里与皇后像广场会聚集数以千计的外籍家庭佣工[51][52][53]。
怡和大厦（原名康乐大厦），位于康乐广场1号。这座高178.5米的摩天大楼于1973年落成时，曾是香港及亚洲最高建筑。其圆形窗户设计取代传统矩形窗户，以强化玻璃幕墙并减轻结构框架重量，也是其建筑特色[54][55]。

^ 这个数字仅统计已知高度超过150米的建筑物。部分已完工且至少50层楼高的建筑物没有列出高度数据。虽然无法确定，但这些摩天大楼中可能有部分建筑高度超过150米。
^ 由于数字4及其在中国文化中的意义，香港多塔式建筑群的塔楼编号可能不会按顺序分配。因此，在拥有四座或更多实际塔楼的建筑群中，跳过“第4座”的标签是常见做法。一个名为“第8座”的建筑物并不意味著该建筑群中实际有八座塔楼。例如，一个由六座实际塔楼组成的建筑群，前三座可能被命名为第1、2、3座，而后三座则为第5、6、7座。对于分四期或更多期开发的大型项目，也可能出现这种情况[56]。
